Scott Funderburg been in the fire service since 1990, retiring from Flower Mound in 2024 after 32 years of service. He holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Columbia Southern University.  He has been married to his wife Renee for 27 years, who is an administrator Argyle ISD. He has one son who is an Engineer at Flower Mound Fire Department.
