Jerry Kirby has been in the Fire and EMS service for 52 years. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Fire Administration, is a Master Firefighter, and a Licensed Paramedic.

Chief Kirby has lived in Denton County for his entire life, with the last 18 years residing in Northlake. He has been married for 50 years and has 2 daughters and 3 grandsons.
